The details

The details behind the five steps.

You've seen the five steps on the homepage. This page explains each one: how you apply, where the clients come from, how an introduction becomes paid work, and how we get paid. Every number here is an example — we're new, and we'd rather show you how it works than make promises.

The five steps

Five steps, in order.

The same five steps as the homepage — here with what happens at each one, how long it takes, and what you need to do. You can't pay to skip any of them.

Apply Free. A human reads it. Answer in 3–5 days.
Get vetted Show us real work you've shipped. That's the whole bar.
Get the software ProcessScout for your clients — normally $390/month, free for members.
Get clients When a client's report matches your skills, we introduce you.
Get paid You invoice the client directly. You keep 90%.
01

Apply — once, free.

You apply once, free, at /apply. We ask what AI and automation work you've actually done, with examples — redacted is fine. No listing fee, no bid credits, no subscription. A human reads every application, and you get an answer in 3–5 days either way.

02

Get vetted — a human reads your work.

One question decides it: have you shipped real work you'd stand behind? We don't count followers, certificates, or years on a profile. If it's a no, we say so plainly, and you can reapply when you've shipped more. If it's a yes, you're in. There are no paid tiers.

03

Get the software — free.

Members get ProcessScout free — normally $390/month. Client workspaces, guided intake, professional reports, for every client you have. One condition, stated up front: use it with at least one client every six months. If you stop, normal pricing applies — but we'll warn you before any billing. No surprise bills.

04

Get clients — we introduce you.

There's no public directory and no bidding. When a client's report calls for work that matches your skills and your capacity, we introduce you to the client directly. You can say no to any introduction, no penalty. How often this happens depends on client demand in your field — we don't promise volume of work.

05

Get paid — you keep 90%.

You contract directly with the client and invoice them yourself. We invoice you 10% of what they pay — 5% after $25,000 with the same client — with terms fixed in writing before your first project. Your own clients: 0%, forever. On some jobs, payment protection holds the client's money and releases it as milestones are approved. Not on every job yet

Where the clients come from

Every client starts by paying $1,500.

Businesses pay $1,500 for a ProcessScout assessment. Sarah, ProcessScout's intake assistant (an AI, not a person), collects the evidence. A named analyst signs a written report — ProcessScout calls it a Trail Map — delivered in five business days once the evidence is in.

The report ranks the client's top three fixes, says what to build, and gives a rough budget for each. When that work matches your skills, we introduce you. That's the whole pipeline: assessments in, real jobs out.

One job, end to end

From introduction to getting paid

Introduce → Agree the job → Do the work → Get paid. You and the client contract directly with each other. We introduce you, then step back.

01 · Introduce

Meet over the report

You and the client meet with the report on the table. It already says what's broken and what fixing it is worth — so the first conversation starts at “when do we start?”, not “convince me”.

02 · Agree the job

Quote inside the budget

You quote inside the report's budget range and agree terms directly with the client. Your contract, your rates, your paperwork — we're not a party to it.

03 · Do the work

Build it

You do the work — on ProcessScout if you like — against the numbers measured in the report. Results are checked at 30 and 90 days, so outcomes are recorded, not claimed.

04 · Get paid

Invoice, then pay our fee

You invoice the client. We invoice you 10%. Payment protection applies where it's been offered in writing.

Example: an $18,000 project → $1,800 fee to us → you keep $16,200. An example, not a real job.

Your own clients

Your own clients: 0%, forever.

Clients you bring yourself never pay us anything. Not 10%, not a “platform rate” — 0%, forever, and no exclusivity. Our fee only applies to clients we send you. That's the whole deal, and it's in writing.

01

Your clients run on the free software.

ProcessScout — normally $390/month — is free for members. Run assessments, client workspaces, and reports for your own clients on it, and pay us nothing on them. The only thing we ask is that you actually use it.

02

The one condition: one client every six months.

Use the software with at least one client every six months. That's it — no minimum billings, no monthly quota, no streaks to keep up.

03

If you stop, we warn you first.

Go six months without a client on the software and normal pricing ($390/month) applies — but we'll tell you before any billing, with time to run a client through or wind down. Nobody gets a surprise bill, and your own clients stay at 0% regardless.

04

Referrals earn on top.

Know a business that needs help? Refer them to the $1,500 assessment and earn $300 — 20% — when they buy. The report that comes back can become your next project, as your own client, at 0%. Four referrals a year is $1,200. An example, not a promise.

Level up

Get certified, get more.

Certification rewards delivery, not self-promotion. The first group is forming now, by invitation — we'd rather say that plainly than sell seats to a program we haven't finished proving.

01 Train First group forming

Learn the method. How ProcessScout builds its reports: evidence first, honest confidence labels, a human signs everything. So a report you deliver is as rigorous as one ProcessScout delivers.

02 Prove First group forming

One reviewed project. You run a real client project on the software and a ProcessScout analyst reviews it end to end — the evidence, the reasoning, the report. You pass on quality, not a quiz.

03 Unlock First group forming

Your brand on the front. Certified members can deliver reports co-branded or fully under their own brand, and go to the front of the queue for introductions. Earned by a reviewed project, never bought.

Certification is new: groups are small, entry is by invitation, and details may change as we learn. Members hear first.

Questions

Frequently asked

Who signs the contract?

You and the client, directly — your contract, your rates. We're not a party to it. We vet, we introduce, and we invoice you our fee. The work and the relationship are yours.

How do you collect the 10%?

We invoice you — not the client — for 10% of what the client pays you on work we sent. It drops to 5% after $25,000 with the same client. This is launch pricing, and how and when you pay is fixed in writing before your first project — nothing to discover later.

Can I say no to an introduction?

Yes, always, no penalty. Introductions are offers, not assignments — if the job, timing, or client isn't right, say no. It doesn't affect your membership, your free software, or future introductions.

Does the client see the fee?

No. We charge you, not the client. The client pays only what they agree with you — we add no markup.
